Real things I saw/heard in a 5-minute stretch walking in Manhattan:

*A woman apologizing for her Western Pennsylvania accent, calling it “horrid”
*A couple standing in the middle of the sidewalk making out, with tongues and everything
*A guy riding one of this little folding bikes down the middle of the street, just in front of a huge SUV with two Jersey Shore-esque dudes inside honking and shouting at him
*A guy walking along making really loud fart noises with his mouth
